To wonder
Speaking to Thor, Chris Hemsworth stated that it was “not the intention” for a recent YouTube video thanking fans for Thor’s popularity in the MCU to be read as a farewell to the character.
(Laughs.) That was definitely not the intention. Honestly, my social media team put together some footage and was like, “Oh, this could be cool. We’re going to fix some things and thank the fans.” And I was like, “Yeah, cool. It’s been great.” So we filled it out together, and I went to do something else. But then I had a few people ask me about it, and someone on my team was like, “Ugh, we’ve given the wrong impression here.” (Laughs.) We didn’t do any [damage control]; there was no need for damage control. But a lot of it was read a little bit. I was [already] starting this chapter of the character, and this journey has been the majority of my career. So [the video] was a moment of gratitude, and it was nothing else. But it was definitely misinterpreted and perceived differently.

Untitled Stranger Things spinoff
During a recent interview with Variety, Finn Wolfhard suggested a Stranger Things spinoff series is being discussed at Netflix, while also offering his own idea for an anthology series like David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.
Like David Lynch’s Twin Peaks in the Area. It’s kind of an anthology and different tones, but a similar universe or the same universe. I think it’s set in different places and all connected through this upside-down mythology. Don’t even talk about Hawkins. There’s no mention of our heroes.
They were playing around with ideas if Netflix wanted them. I’m sure they are, and I’m sure it will happen, but there’s nothing official. I think the coolest way I would do it is to have labs everywhere. If Hawkins had one, Russia has one. Where else could they be?
Peacekeeper
During a recent episode of The Peacekeeper: The Official Podcast (via Comic Book ), James Gunn confirmed that the Matter Eater and Puppet Master are still canon in their own DCU.
In the comics, Matter-Apeater Lad is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, which means he’s from the future. He doesn’t exist in the present day.
And so somehow he either went back in time to the present day to hang out with the Peacekeeper and eat Wendy, or he’s a different character who exists in the present. But I’m willing to say I’ll accept the user boy. I think we can live with that.
We’ve decided that Doll Man’s Canon, we’ve decided that Bat-Mite is not canon, we know that Justice League is not Canon.
