Several of Nick’s famous friends played a role in his big day
This Morning star Nick Ferrari has revealed how he ‘set up’ Piers Morgan at his co-stars’ wedding last month.
Nick, who works as a contributor on the ITV breakfast show, was previously married to Sandra Phylis Conolly, with whom he has two sons.
The LBC radio presenter and his wife Claire Patterson walked down the aisle in front of their family and friends at the old Marylebone Town Hall in August.
After the ceremony, Nick, Claire and their wedding guests went for a meal in the garden of his South East London home.
Together for over a decade, the couple originally met in global radio, where Claire works as a content manager for Heart, Smooth, LBC and the Gold brand.
Following his romantic Christmas proposal, Nick revealed how he popped the question on a previous This Morning appearance to Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.
“I’m engaged to be married to Claire. We had the most wonderful Christmas, and we’d been to Lapland and had a brilliant time. Then we were down in the south of France, and after ten years together I said she could make a decent man out of me.”

“I did it at our favorite restaurant in the south of France, and I wanted her to play a role in designing her engagement ring. So we went to a DIY store and proceeded to get down on one knee,” he said.
When Ben and Kat returned to the program earlier in the week after the summer break, the hosts grilled Nick about how the big day went.
When asked why he wears two rings, Nick told Ben, “I finally got around to it. She redid that one and I’m wearing it here because I felt like it might be a bit del Boy if two is two on one hand. This was the last gift my dad gave me before he passed away. I’m all about it.”
Showing a picture of Claire “in all her glory”, Nick said his co-host This Morning co-host Camilla Tominey had visited because he had “known her for 100 years”.
After being teased for his dance move, Nick gave a glimpse into some of the roles his famous friends played in making the big day special.
He explained: “You think it’s going to be a slow waltz, but then the music changed and I was dancing to an ice baby.
“You have Christopher Biggins taking part, Myleene Klass playing the harp as she walks down the aisle, you have Piers Morgan.
“Nice piers reading a passage from the Bible about humility. He did realize he was made when I gave him the Bible. We had a great time.”
Former Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers famously left Good Morning Britain after Meghan Markle issued a formal complaint to ITV over comments he made in 2021.
Following Meghan and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah, where she admitted to struggling with suicidal thoughts, Piers said he didn’t believe a word she said.
Following his comments, which led to more than 41,000 complaints to regulator Ofcom, Piers went on to land a show on TalkTV, which ran from 2022 to 2024. His series Piers Morgan Uncensored has since moved to YouTuber.
