iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air pre-orders began Friday in the US and many other countries. iPhone 17 Pro Max shipping estimates were quickly slashed after the Friday, September 19th launch day for those who still had to place an order, and now the other new models have started to follow suit.

Starting shortly after 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time today, select iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air configurations are available on Apple’s online store in the U.S., with an additional 1-3 week shipping delay after launch day, with shipping estimates placed in late September to mid-October. However, for some configurations, shipping or in-store pickup at select Apple Store locations on launch day is still an option at the time of writing.

We don’t know how much supply Apple has for each new iPhone configuration, but while extended supply estimates are usually aligned with strong demand, Cosmic Orange for the Pro models and Cloud White for the iPhone Air have proven to be particularly popular color options. For the regular iPhone 17, Sage and Black are in demand.

On a related note, there’s some good news for customers who pre-ordered as early as possible on Friday, as some customers who originally received a September 25th delivery estimate have now seen their orders arrive by September 19th.
