The gritty Netflix miniseries Adolescence had a very good night at the 2025 Emmys, taking home six trophies, including a history-making acting win for 15-year-old Owen Cooper, and an outstanding lead actor win for co-creator Stephen Graham.
In the video above, Graham thanks his family and the cast before giving a special, heartfelt thank you to his wife, Hannah Walters, who also stars in the show.
“My amazing wife, who I love with every ounce of my being—you are my rock, you are my world, you are my soulmate—and you know and I know, without you I would be dead,” says Graham, who has previously opened up about his past struggles with depression on The Local. “So from the bottom of my heart, I love you with everything I have.”
