Today is Romeo Beckham’s birthday, but don’t hold your breath waiting for older brother Brooklyn to share a loving tribute.
The siblings have been in a family rift ever since Brooklyn and his wife Nicole Peltz were away at dad Sir David’s 50th birthday party.
Since then, there has been an undeniable distance between the budget chef and his famous parents, with Romeo, who turns 23, and Cruise, 20, taking aim at him on social media.
Whether it’s seemingly blocking him and Nicola (30) on Instagram, swiping over Brooklyn’s diverse career, or posting cryptic messages about “telling the truth,” it’s clear that their once-close relationship is now strained.
As such, Brooklyn, 26, has no desire to wish her younger brother a happy birthday.
A source shared with Metro on where they are currently: “Brooklyn has been on the receiving end of public trolling from both of her brothers, and just a few months ago they even blocked her and Nicole.
“So, it’s unrealistic to expect him to extend an olive branch.”
Something tells us Romeo won’t feel like he’s missing out, though, as the middle Beckham brother has been inundated with well-wishes from other loved ones, which he’s been reposting on his Insta story.
These included Sir David’s mother Sandra, who wrote: “Happy birthday to my special grandson @Romeobeckham so proud of you, love you lots xxx.”
Proud mom Victoria also posted plenty of baby snaps, writing that she “can’t” he’s now 23.
“We love you so much Romeo and hope all your dreams come true on your birthday,” the fashion designer filled in.
Meanwhile, doting dad Sir David took to his feed with an adorable throwback photo, adding in the caption: “Happy 23rd birthday to my little boy… you are kind, humble, polite, hardworking and the most special person to all of us who love you so much.”
Not one to miss a chance to embarrass his older brother, Chris joined in by uploading a picture of Romeo as a kid using Justin Bieber’s phone case, which seemed like something that was intended, considering how the model now resembles JB with his buzz cut and tattoos, as fans have pointed out.
‘Love U Man,’ Cruz wrote.
Romeo’s birthday comes after Brooklyn makes another sneaky dig at his family.
Living in the States now, he and Nicole recently renewed their wedding vows after three years of marriage, with his billionaire tycoon father, Nelson Peltz, serving as officiant.
It was a much smaller affair than their 2022 nuptials, which took place at the Peltz family’s £92 million oceanfront mansion in Florida in front of hundreds of high-profile guests.
But, the second time around, Brooklyn and Nicole invited 200 guests, with the bride wearing a modified version of her mom’s dress.
The couple who did not receive an invitation, however, were Sir David and Victoria, who are believed to have found out about the ceremony through online messages.
Then, in a fresh blow, Brooklyn made it known that he had no plans to return to England, at least not to see his mom and dad.
In the video, filmed in London with celebrity chef Michel Roux Jr., Brooklyn, who owns hot sauce brand Cloud23, adapted his skills by making a gammon dish.
The former photographer, who has spent little time in the UK so far this year, said afterwards that food would be the “only thing” he would fly back for.
With the internet still heavily invested in the ongoing Beckham feud, it remains to be seen whether Victoria’s previous “desperate” hopes for a reconciliation will come to pass.
But for now, the sides look like they’ve been chosen.
