Samia Longchambon has joked that being married to her ice skater husband is “hard work” after the Coronation Street star shared an insight into their recent family break.
The actress, who is best known for playing Maria Windass – nee Connor and Sutherland – in the ITV soap, swapped Weatherfield for Greece over the summer.
After returning to the UK, Samia took to Instagram with a series of snaps from her sun-soaked trip to Corfu. In one set, the soap star could be seen on a boat alongside her husband Sylvain, who is best known as a professional ice skater.
She also included a stunning vibrant sunset, and everyone was smiling as she posed for the camera in a turquoise patterned bikini, which she teamed with a pair of brown shorts.
Alongside the post, Samia wrote: “Had a Mamma Mia moment on a lovely boat in Corfu. The last picture might be the best I’ve ever taken of the sunset.. #Kefalonia #Summer25 #Greece.”
And the comments quickly came pouring in. Abi Webster actress Sally Carman-Duttin said: “Gorgeous.” Emmerdale Vanessa Woodfield star Michelle Hardwicke also commented: “You look stunning.”

Meanwhile, Sami was also seen getting all over her husband as she shared a shirtless Frenchman on her Instagram story and said, “We recently celebrated 9 years of marriage @Slongchambon… It’s hard work but I’m cracking up with it,” before adding a cinematic face emoji, a cursing emoji, and a crying face.

It was while competing in the now-revolting ITV skating competition Dancing on Ice in 2013 that Samia found love with a professional ice skater.
The couple got engaged after three years and two months, when Samia discovered she was pregnant. Samia, who is also mum to daughter Freya from her previous marriage, then gave birth to their first child together, son Yves, in 2015, before the couple married in 2016 at Delamere Manor in Cuddington, Cheshire.
And Samia and Sylvain are more loved up than ever, with the Corrie actress regularly sharing selfies with her French husband, as well as some family snaps with her rarely seen children.
In July, Samia was seen celebrating Sylvain as he marked his 45th birthday. She took to Instagram with a series of snaps of the skater, as well as several cute couple pictures.
Alongside the post, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Mon Amour… Mt Strong! @Slongchambon You keep me sane and drive me crazy in equal measure! And I wouldn’t trade you for the world.”
