Aktieris-dziedātājs Diljits Dosanjh ir runājis par viņa filmas par strīdiem, Sardaar ji 3pēc nesenās Indijas un Pakistānas spēles.
Nesenā koncerta laikā Kualalumpurā Diljits uzrunāja pūli un paziņoja, ka viņa filma tika uzņemta pirms Pahalgamas terora akta, kamēr mačs tika spēlēts starp valstīm vēlāk. Vairāki to pašu klipi ir parādījušies sociālo mediju platformās, parādot dziedātājam, kurš meklē auditorijas atļauju pirms viņa īsās runas.
“When my film Sardaar ji 3 was made in February, the matches were played. But then the tragic Pahalgam terror attack happened. Since then, we have always prayed that the terrorists should get the strictest punishment. There is a difference because my film was made before the attack and the match was played after,” he said.
Diljit went on to claim that he would never go against the country, prompting loud cheers and applause. “I have a lot to say, but I chose to remain silent and keep it inside. I don’t want to do that,” he added.
The controversy surrounding Sardaar ji 3 stemmed from the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The film, which was released in theatres abroad on June 27, faced a huge backlash following the Pahalgam terror attack amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.
After massive backlash from the film fraternity, fwice and social media, the makers of Sardaar ji 3 have announced that they will not release their film in India.
On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh will soon be seen in Border 2 also starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty. (Ani)
