Jenny Garth took to social media this week to document her daughter Fiona’s move to college.
The 53-year-old mom of three—who is engaged to ex-husband Peter Facinelli—shared an Instagram reel showing the step-by-step process of decorating the 18-year-old’s first dorm room.
“Come with me as I help my daughter move into her freshman dorm. I can’t believe this moment is finally here. I just couldn’t stop hugging her,” his voice said.
The mother-daughter duo made a productive team as they packed and unloaded a white SUV, sanitized the room, and later decorated it.
“It definitely needed a little love, so we rearranged some things, did some cleaning, and then came the fun part,” the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star said in the clip.
She added in her caption: “Fiona moving into her college dorm was surreal to say the least. My little bird flying into the nest, such a bittersweet feeling as a mom.”

In addition to Fiona, exes Jennie and Peter share Luca, 28, and Lola, 22.
Fiona joined the actress on the latest episode of her I Choose Me Podcast earlier this week, where she opened up about her teenage pregnancy.
She explained that she was once mistakenly told she was pregnant after going to Planned Parenthood birth control with her mother.
During the question-and-answer session, one fan asked for advice on how to talk to her daughter about birth control.
That’s when the Bad Influence star shared her “horrible/funny/awkward/terrible story.”
She revealed that she had gotten my mom to agree to accompany her to the clinic to go for birth control because I was having “irregular periods.”
Jenny went on to explain the actual reason, because “I had a boyfriend and I just wanted to be safe.”
The employee later showed up with what was believed to be Jenny’s urine test results and said she was pregnant. This forced her to be honest with her mom about being sexually active.

“I immediately, like, I was just red. I was hot, like, sweaty. Like, I didn’t know what to do,” she said of her panic and confusion.
“Because I was honest with my mom at that moment, in the most embarrassing situation, about the fact that I had already had sex and that I had lied to her about it.”
The doctor then came back into the room and said, “Oh, hmm. That wasn’t your pee. That was someone else’s pee.”
Jenny said she was “furious” at the time, but noted that it was a learning lesson.
“It’s important to open the channels of discussion … there’s nothing you shouldn’t talk about with your mom,” she told Fiona and her listeners.
“There’s no shame in it,” she said of the decision to have sex. “It’s a natural thing, and it deserves to be comfortable.”
