Linehan said in an online article that a condition of his fear stipulates that he “do not go on Twitter.”

Father Ted co-founder Graham Linehan has been arrested at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of inciting violence in relation to his posts on X.

He was arrested after arriving on a flight from the US and said in an online posting that officials became concerned about his health after taking his blood pressure and took him to the hospital.

The Metropolitan Police said the man, aged in his 50s, was arrested on September 1 at Heathrow Airport and taken to hospital, adding that his condition was “neither life-threatening nor life-changing” and he was released “pending further investigation”.

Linehan said in an online article about Vasain that his bail condition states that he “does not go on Twitter” and that his arrest was related to three posts from April X, in what he believed was a “challenge” by a “trans-identified man” in a women-only space.

Linean said when he stepped off the plane, “five armed officers were waiting” to tell him he was under arrest.

Matt said: “The arrest was made by officers from the MPS Aviation Unit. It is customary for officers to carry firearms at airports. They were not drawn or used at any time during the arrest.”
