The statement read: “This year, these images of Palestinian children are haunting my mind as I consider all the things I am allowed to do with my children, as these children suffer the unbearable pain of losing those they love, parents who were there with them once, telling them how great they were, how everything would be okay, and that ‘this is your year.’”
