Lana Murphy has given birth to her second child, a boy.
A 9News Melbourne journalist confirmed the exciting news on social media on Tuesday, sharing a gallery of photos of the precious babies.
One adorable picture captured Lana gently rocking her newborn while kissing him on the cheek, while another showed Lana and her partner Nick Riddle introducing their eldest son Bowie to his younger brother.
Lana looked every inch the tiny mother in the sweet gallery as she revealed her son’s very unique name in her caption.
“ He’s here. And he was so worth the wait. Soaking up every second with our boy; Navy,” Lana wrote.
Many of her celebrity friends took to the comments section to offer well wishes.

In July, it was reported that Lana was set to leave the network, a week after making headlines thanks to a shocking on-air gaffe in the area.
The president had shared a post on Instagram revealing that she was going on maternity leave, days after forgetting her script during a live broadcast and ad-libbing nonsense.
Lana posted a gallery of photos, one of which captured her showing off her growing baby bump while posing for the weather.
The journalist looked radiant in the photo as she announced that she would be taking time off to prepare for her second child.
“A couple of east coasts from the shot, while also getting kicked out of my role on Nine News in Melbourne, for a few months, Eek!” she wrote.

Lana’s departure comes after a widely shared moment when she forgot her script and a commercial during a live broadcast to fill time—an incident that seemed to endear her more to viewers.
She took to tiktok to own up to her mistake.
Lana shared a clip that showed her delivering a seemingly innocuous report about school holiday activities in Melbourne.
However, the segment quickly went off the rails when Lana clearly forgot her script.
It seems like her ad-libbing abilities may need some work, uttering a series of incomprehensible filler words to the reporter.
“We’ll have a full list of all possible school holiday activities and…” she said, before pausing briefly, trying to remember her lines.
“Dib-a-dib-a-dib-a-dib-a-doo” was all Lana could muster before finally getting back on the road.
The segment then dropped to host Brett MacLeod in the studio, who appeared on the loss to explain Lana’s bizarre gaffe.
Seeing the funny side of her mistake, Lana captioned her clip with a note to herself: “I wish I could say this was the first time my real personality went on air.”
“I promise I’m usually a serious, professional journalist,” she added.
