No bail was set, but Brown will be required to appear in court on September 16.
Brown was not subjected to the mug shot due to a technology issue affecting the police body camera.
The Independent has reached out to Brown’s representatives for comment.
Brown earned three Emmy Award nominations for his work on Succession, all in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category. He appeared alongside Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snoke, Kieran Culkin, and Brian Cox.

Brown has been busy since then, landing roles in Splitsville and Saturday Night Live. He’s also set to appear in the upcoming film Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie starring Hugh Jackman and Emma Thompson. Brown plays a cop in the film’s adaptation of Leonie Swann’s 2005 novel, which is being directed by Kyle Balda with a screenplay by The Last of Us writer Craig Mazin.
Despite being a public figure, Brown tends to keep his personal life under wraps, so it’s still unclear why he was in New Hampshire over Labor Day weekend.
However, earlier this year, he looked into his relationship with girlfriend Hyunji Ward.
“HBD to my sweetest girlfriend sweetest sweetheart!!! You are the absolute joy of my life,” he captioned an Instagram post in March. “You make me my best self! Like when you said I could take off that shirt that was full of forks. You were right. Love you so much.”
The couple has largely kept their relationship private, making only rare public appearances together. They were spotted at the Emmys after-party last January, and then enjoyed a date night at a Netflix event the following month.
Brown hasn’t posted on his Instagram since the March report about Ward.
