Both of them were reportedly asked to provide personal details and documents like Aadhaar and PAN.

The ED had launched an investigation into the app after it was found to be a hoax by the founder of a UAE-based gambling platform. The probe also unearthed a Rs 5,000 crore hawala racket operating in the UAE and Pakistan.

Former cricketer Robin Uthappa also appeared before the ED on Monday. Earlier, former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan also faced questioning by the ED in connection with alleged money laundering related to an “unauthorised” gaming app that he endorses in advertisements.
