Anthropic AI has said that its Claude AI Chatbot will be able to remember preferences made in team projects without requiring people to re-explain themselves. The feature is rolling out to team and enterprise users now.
Last month, the memory refresh was rolled out to paid subscribers, but now Team and Enterprise users will automatically have the feature.
“With Memory, Claude focuses on learning your professional context and work patterns to maximize productivity. It remembers your team’s processes, customer needs, project details, and priorities. Sales teams maintain customer context across deals, product teams maintain specifications between sprints, and execute on initiatives by continuously updating context,” a blog post by Antropic states.
Teams will also have control over the memory feature – they can disable it for their organizations and even manage which parts Claude should remember.
They will also have incognito chat for conversations they don’t want to be remembered.
Claude can also create a separate memory for each project to ensure that discussions remain confidential within projects and are distinct.
There is also a memory summary feature to view all chats under one specific location for users to view and edit. The chatbot will then adjust its memories based on these changes that users make.
