Gmail has a neat little feature for tracking deliveries that you may have noticed before. At the top of your inbox, Google will show you packages that are set to arrive within the next 24 hours, which is a handy feature for the forgetful. Google announced this week that it’s improving this feature by adding a whole new section where you can view all your online purchases, regardless of their delivery status.

“We’re launching a new view that brings together all of your purchase and delivery updates in one place,” said Chris Doan, Google’s Gmail director, in a blog post to Local. “It’ll give you a bird’s-eye view of all of your upcoming package deliveries in one simple, organized list.”

How it works is pretty self-explanatory. Once the update reaches you, you’ll be able to open the left-hand menu and find the new “purchases” section. Clicking on this section will only show you emails about purchases and package shipments. From now on, you can check each purchase or shipment as needed without worrying about it clogging up the rest of your inbox.

According to Google, existing package tracking features will remain, including those that pin to the top of your inbox if they’re expected to be delivered within the next 24 hours.

Additionally, Google is revamping its promotions category in Gmail. This is a small update, giving users the option to sort by “most relevant” promotional emails. Google doesn’t explicitly state this, but it seems like “most relevant” in this case means that the brands you engage with most often will be filtered to the top of your inbox, while the rest will be filtered down.
