Tuesday’s “Awe Dropping” Apple Event unveiled the iPhone 17 series, which includes the iPhone Air, a thinner version of the phone, as well as the base iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and the top-of-the-line iPhone 17 Pro Max. The event also featured exciting announcements like the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and AirPods Pro 3.
The iPhone 17 comes in a variety of styles and prices, which we’ve covered below. But as with all Apple gear, these phones are pretty expensive. We’ve compiled information on where you can pre-order the iPhone 17. We’ll continue to expand this list as more retailers and carriers post their pre-order offers.
Pre-order iPhone 17
Apple iPhone 17 Apple Store
You can pre-order the new iPhone 17 from Apple starting Friday, September 12. Plus, if you have an older device, you can get anywhere from $40 to $700 off when you trade in an iPhone 13 Pro or later. You’ll also get 3% cash back when you buy with your Apple Card.* Plus, Apple is partnering with carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Boost Mobile to offer enhanced trade-in credit up to $999 if you’re looking for a service plan.
Apple is offering up to $830 off a new iPhone 17 when you trade in an eligible iPhone. The savings come in 36 monthly credits on your bill.
It won’t be long before customers can get their hands on the iPhone 17 in their choice of colors. Currently, the iPhone is available as a single lump sum payment or monthly installments priced at $23.
While T-Mobile doesn’t have a pre-order link on its website yet, it has a tempting offer that might be worth waiting until the 12th. Switch to T-Mobile and add a line to one of the experience plans, and you’ll get an iPhone 17 for free, no trade-in required.
It’ll be applied as a bill credit over 24 months. Cancel before then and you’ll owe the entire unpaid balance.
Verizon hasn’t confirmed its iPhone 17 pre-orders, but we should know more soon.

How does the iPhone 17 Trade-in offer work?
There are several carriers offering trade-in savings through Apple, some valued at up to $1,100 for eligible trade-ins, which could net you a free iPhone 17 Pro.
Not a fan of contracts? Some retailers also offer trade-in programs that might offer gift cards for future purchases instead. This can be a great way to take advantage of savings without necessarily being locked into a contract. Retail deals may not provide as much of a deal as traditional carrier trade-in offers, so keep that in mind when shopping, and other deals come online.
