Sharon Osbourne has shared an emotional statement expressing gratitude to fans and supporters in the weeks following the death of her husband Ozzy Osbourne.
“I still struggle to find the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you have shown on social media,” Sharon — who married the heavy metal icon in 1982, two years after she became his manager — wrote on Friday.
“Your comments, messages and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know,” she continued. “None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it carries me through many nights.”

“While I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some of the gorgeous creatures I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with,” she wrote. “The connection you form with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence.”
She noted that birds “only choose to approach you if they feel you are safe and unafraid of them.”
“It’s a connection I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical,” she added.

Kelly also posted about the outing, writing, “I introduced my mom to the falcon today and she loved it!”
Last week, Kelly wrote about how her newfound love of Falconry had brought her some relief after losing her famous father.
Ozzy died of a heart attack in July at the age of 76.
The Black Sabbath barber had performed his final concert just a few weeks earlier, in his hometown of Birmingham.
