A hint for today’s pinch puzzle
Today’s directions topic is: Color me a picture
If that doesn’t help you, here’s a clue: old-fashioned art.
Fixed words to unlock the game
Your goal is to find hidden words that match the theme of the puzzle. If you get stuck, find all the words you can. Each time you find three words with four letters or more, Strand will reveal one of the theme words. These are the words I used to get these hints, but any four-letter or more words you have will work:
- Leet, sweet, lonely, gentle, flow, filling, ripe, ripening, trio, pills, hurt, till, gem, rill, pits
Answers to today’s pinch puzzle
These are the answers that are related to the theme. The goal of the puzzle is to find them all, including the spangram, a theme word that reaches from one side of the puzzle to the other. Once you have them all (I initially thought there were always eight, but I learned that the number can vary), every letter on the board will be used. Here are the non-spangram answers:
- Book, fruit, guitar, jewelry, mug, sunflowers
Today’s strand spangram
Today’s Spangram is StillLife. To find it, look for the S, which is three letters to the right in the top row, and wind.
